I took scuba at my college for 1 free credit, and now I am NAUI certified. Basically its a sports diving certification good around the world. I have 3 hours of supervised dive time, and 1 hour of dives with my partner. We went to a dive park/quarry out in Pennsylvania. It was defenitly an awsome experience, and I plan to continue the hobbie this summer!

looks awesome! we'll have to talk about going to dutch springs in the summer... like when its warm out! Believe it or not, even when the surface is 80º there in the summer, around 60' its still real cold. 80' I started shivering, no good. The caribbean is where its at! WOOOO :) Congrats on the cert!

did you see anything cool down there? I always wanted to go scuba diving near a sunken ship or something like that.

We went to a small boat about 40ft down. It was a really easy dive considering how cold it really was underwater. I defenitly had ALOT of fun doing it, its a huge stress reliever.

Average sports diving is to about 60ft, and my proffessor always tells us, its not how deep you go, because your best dives are in shallow water (you can stay underwater longer) I need to buy some more of my own crap like a BC, regulator w/ gauages, and a wet-suit. then I'll be set to dive whenever & whereever I want.

Funny you said that.. I had a party at my house last night and two of the guys asked if the scuba tanks in my house were nitrous bottles. Negative.
