Their TA categories are screwy. How do you compare two different gens? Completely different styles.

that is a very odd class structure. lots of holes that leave out good cars and the cars that are included are lumped together in strange ways.

I agree. The categories are more than somewhat awkward. However there is not a big contingent of Birds that show up. Last year there were three 1st gen fiebirds, three 3rd gen TA's, and six 2nd Gen TA's. I convinced the members to break up the TA category but I almost had to guarantee them I could bring more people.
They broke up the Grand Prix and GTO category for this year too cause they had 4 or 5 late gen GP's and GTO's show up. They do understand that the late models don't stand a chance against nostalgia, so thats why they did it. I got them to do the same for the TA class - please - they had ALL TA's lumped together! If I can get a good showing for next year, or better yet 1 new member, they may listen to me about breaking it up further.
They don't have much young blood in the group - but they are a great group of guys and gals. I'm bringing in new thoughts and ideas, and I appreciate that they heard me and are willing to give it a try.
BTW, any idea how I can post a word doc of the show flyer? I got no where to host it
