I see Reedman/toll is taking orders. I need to stop by and see how much they are inflating the price?

I was just the dealer that I bought both of my 4th gens from Monday looking at a Cobalt SS and the same salesman that sold me both cars..
Said they havent gotten any price information yet and most people seem to know more than they know about the 5th gen..

Thats cause dealers wait for GM to give them the info. The rest of us search the internet day and night trying to find out all we can. haha

yea theyre cool and all, but i wouldnt want one, no solid axle, parts will be expensive as balls for them, tires are expensive for the rim sizes, and monthly payments again, no thanks!

Melissa has a contact at a dealership that's taking orders for them and is guaranteeing no higher than MSRP.

Asked at Weed Chevy today, they are not saying anything about the "Market Price Adjustment" but they are taking deposits.
I am sure it will be worse than the pre-GTO hype, most stealerships were trying for 5-7k over sticker for them. I am betting this will be in the 10k and up range.
There was a dealership that auctioned off the right to order the first new Camaro to be delivered to the dealership, I think it went for 25 or 30 thousand.

yeah, but then i didn't buy the HHR from him... so i dunno if that still applies
as ive always said, a 2011 Z28 will be sitting in my driveway, i have some time to find a dealership to work with me. the one melissa mentioned is still a possibility, i still have his card, he garunteed msrp for me. we shall see.

A buddy of mine up on Long Island put a deposit on one a few months ago and they also guaranteed none of that market adjustment BS.

and he still has to pay for the car... all he got was the right to buy the first new car at the stealership. what a dolt. another case of too much money and not enough brains.

or he had enough money where he didn't care. To some people it just doesn't make a difference.
