The website, which pulled its information from Census figures, maps out each town in America and compares it to the state’s median income and rent figures.

I thought this was fairly interesting, and a neat way to give more insight into the various areas of the state and country.

You can search by town, and each town is broken into various sections and lists the matching median income and rent figures.

I do these maps at work a lot. They are very interesting in analyzing an area of interest. Showing things like race as well as population age is fun. When looking at NYC it is amazing how just a couple census tracts away the income levels can be so different.

Mapping is fun :)
