When I was 15-18 I worked out HARD and played alot of sports. I maxed out around 265 squated a retarted amount leg pressed 8 45 plates on each side of the machine ran a mile in 536 and curled 35s

Now after 4 weeks of on and off working out im at bench-210 curls 50 (10 times each arm i dont know how I do that either) (new gym leg press is machine weight not free so it maxes at 400 and i max it out doing 20 reps) havnt started squating again yet tho run a mile in 620

yo if you are doing cardio you should look into sprinting, or any anaerobic excersize. long distance running will make u lose muscle mass.

i weighed myself yesterday and in span of two weeks and adding 20 carbs to each meal i jumped from 204 to 211.

Like hard work and sacrifice?

LTb1ow 05-04-2009 10:01 AM

Me?

I am actually surprised with myself, it was tough at first but its not so bad now lifting without any SP250.

Yeah, that wasn't a shot at you, just a push to try and lift without supplements for a little while to let your body normalize. You want to build the muscle to keep it on, not to be just inflated when you are loaded up.

LTb1ow 05-04-2009 10:11 AM

Yea I hear ya. Its just harder to get myself to lift and what not. Also I am lifting the same weights/reps but feel much smaller in size... idk thats probably a mental issue though.

WildBillyT 05-04-2009 10:29 AM

Yeah, you deflated a bit. It does suck but when you go back to it after a month or two off you will crush your former plateaus. I had the same thing happen with the Met-Rx stuff I use.

LTb1ow 05-04-2009 10:47 AM

I have been going on about a month now with out drugssss

Jam 05-04-2009 10:51 AM

actually to be quite honest, either buy gloves from sports authority or what's even better is using lifting powder aka gun powder. you have amazing grip with it and its comfortable.

Tsar 05-04-2009 10:52 AM

I was finally able to bench 275 yesterday without any SP250 or other crap. I ran out of that in march. Funny thing, I ran out of Whey few days ago too. Seems like no supplements at all is working better for my body

98tadriver 05-04-2009 10:55 AM

i havent lifted since march, i need to get back into it. i feel like a slacker

Jam 05-04-2009 11:13 AM

actually matt if you want I can sell you my pair of bionic lifting gloves ($30) that I never used. for $15.

Tsar 05-04-2009 11:17 AM

Gloves? how did we arrive to this from SP250? and wtf is a bionic lifting love?

LTb1ow 05-04-2009 11:18 AM

Jam is a bit late, I had posted earlier about gloves...

awwe you dont want you girly hands to get a little rough

LTb1ow 05-04-2009 11:30 AM

Pretty much... lol

fire95bird 05-04-2009 11:39 AM

I haven't used supplements in months and feel great when i lift, might start taking protein again though. Im up to 176 now and im only 5'10 :) hopefully ill get to my goal weight of 185 by the end of the summer

LTb1ow 05-04-2009 11:45 AM

I just struggle with lifting cause I my sleep schedules are wacky, gots tests and school stuff to do and lifting is just tough to focus 100% on.

But I enjoy it, helps relax me.

madness410 05-04-2009 11:57 AM

yeah i agree with matt sleep has a lot to do with it...when i first started getting into it i took an hour nap before the gym..felt like a new day and was so energized. when i lift at the gym with 6 or less hours of sleep or no nap it feels like im lifting turds

LTb1ow 05-04-2009 12:01 PM

Yea, I wanna get some more supps for the short summer break I have. Maybe get some solid nights of sleep in and not have to worry about classes. Hopefully get some new PRs.

I use gloves because my hands go before my legs and back during deadlifts
