Also, on the "fuel rail" section of the harness, what are the extra plugs there? And the extra one by the knock sensor as well?

Looking at it on a computer with color does make it a lot easier. My work printer isn't color lol

That's actually a pretty good diagram. Alternator is on the left "alt". The red plug by the fuel rail is Evap solenoid. The extra one by knock is oil pressure sensor

From your harness or from this diagram?

Harness.

Upon research i noticed the alt plug is 1 pin red wire. I have a 1 red wire with no plug.

Upon even further research, the alternator plug must have been ripped off somehow during shipping. It is attached in the pic of the harness the guy sent me.

Upon trice further research, the alter plug was located in the bottom of the box. Just going to order up and re-pin.

I think the red one is an emission related plug. Can't remember & forgot to check last night. Regardless, I don't believe it's pertinent.

Red is evap

I'll have to check this one for you when I get a chance, but position wise, it's obviously located on the driver's side, near the back of the motor. Those grounds are located on the back of the head, so it can't be far from there. I really want to say Oil Pressure Sending Unit, but I'm not positive.

Kirk already said it was.

So theres 2 cam sensor plugs on this ?

KirkEvil 12-23-2016 01:12 PM

Post a pic, but thinking the other would be crank sensor. Crank sensor comes off near the starter leads

posted diagram shows Crank sensor coming off by oil level and bank 2 sensor 1 o2.

also shows cam sensor is by MAP sensor sensor, near were the injector harness for the passenger bank branches off the main.

Plug for Alternator arrived today from chevy. Will pin it in.

Got some looker parts for the front of the car today. Black housing marker lights and a billet grill.

As some of you may, or may not, know, the entire grill area of my front bumper was cut out to feed the intercooler. Leaving me with ultra catfish. So despite it not really being my favorite, a billet grill was pretty much my only option other than catfish gape. going to make some mounting tabs for it and throw it on and see how it looks. worst comes to worse i leave it big mouth billy bass.

You can always go this route with a new bumper cover.

I have a nice screw in aluminum oil fill fitting with little breather if you have interest in making this attractive.

Nah, It's going on the rear of the driver side VC under the cowl, it will be hidden from daylight just as its uglyness should be.

Well see what the oil filler cap one looks like when it gets here in a few days

KirkEvil 01-02-2017 06:52 PM

Sucks you got one chewed up, mine was fine. You'll never see it under the cowl and booster line

LS1ow 01-02-2017 09:09 PM
