I didnt know they were so close, thanks !

eh, maybe. But what would you do? Weve been talking smack to each other for 7 years, we gotta line up some time. :bertstare: You selling the trans might put a damper on that... do i smell a part out ?

LTb1ow 01-26-2017 07:16 PM

If I sold it for a good price, would be TH400 and re-gearing S60 to 3.54s. But since no one will give me what I would want, car will remain in one piece

If been gong back and forth with myself over what i should do trans wise and have been meaning to text you actually.

60e is cheap, available regular and a direct bolt in. But is a 60e, already blown up 3, im sure ill blow threw a few more.

80e im not really sure im going to be at the power level that would warrant this, but it would nice and stout. But also would have to get a controller for it and mount.

TH350/400 would prob be best price vs. abuse that it can handle. and it would be able to run with out any computer, but it also does need a differnt mount.

My 4th gen had the 383LT1/TH350 combo and i drove it with a FMVB, but i never took it anywere far. With this build id like to be able to drive down the highway at 65-70 and not be at a insane rpm

LTb1ow 01-26-2017 07:41 PM

Who says you need a controller to run an 80e? You have an LS1 bro, the world is yours.

Make American Cars Great Again

Those of you with instagram and facebook may have already saw this

KirkEvil hooked me up with some high quality vinyl so i got a but creative with the berger. :usa:

Also, those of you who may remember the lock cyl for the hatch was all messed up and needed replacement. At first i wanted to smooth out the panel, but then i was searching for a spot to put my battery cut off switch. Stumbled upon Kohlers set up for it and adopted the same thing.

Cut off switch is mounted threw the berger using the factory key hole, sandwiched with 2 washers(outside being red w. On/Off) The existing hole from the lock was just enlarged to allow the cut off switch threw.

The hatch isnt closed in the pics so dont mind the huge space.

Before anyone mentions is, im already leaning toward removing the larger "OFF" switch on the hatch and just keeping the little "Off/On" on the red washer. I stuck the big sticker on before i thought of triming the washer down so it didnt cover the camaro letters.

Big stickers definitely gotta go, to busy in the center. Other than that I love it!

Ive been trying to find but cant get anything small enough! amazon has 1/2 and thats to big. I dont think i can free hand stars that small.

Maybe a star pattern hole punch and just grab a piece of white vinyl ?
