So other than rear seat mounting tabs and rear seat belt tabs, anything anyone can think off that i can cut off to make ozite install easiest possible/cut weight ?

sweetbmxrider 02-28-2017 05:41 PM

Maybe reroute wiring? Plug holes that are exposed to exterior of car?

LS1ow 03-02-2017 11:38 AM

fuel pump f*c*ory

got around to dropping the Walbro into the factory bucket due to some free time at work yesterday. Lemme tell ya... atrocious.

I opted for the WS6Store 255 direct drop in kit(bc it maintains venturi system)

Now let me make this clear, WS6Store is an awesome company, they have the best if not dead close prices, and Mike @ WS6 store has always answered my emails quickly.

But man, the kit is trash.

Maybe i just got an off one or something. Its supposed to come with new clamp for the according line, NOPE. New clamp for the jet line, NOPE. As well as the instructions themselves having the wires labeled the wrong color(Red instead of grey) they are label opposite.

After all that, the new 255 has the ports at the bottom for suction, however the factory rubber sleeve thingy doesnt line up with it. so has to be cut and modified. Also, once it is cut so you can get the sock on the bottom, since the 255 is a smaller diameter than the stock FP, the sleeve doesnt hold it. So you have to run a clamp around the rubber sleeve to keep the 255 in place.

Will post pics later when my wifi isnt being a buk buk

Why did you censor out "factory"?

wretched73 03-02-2017 11:52 AM

Did you call them and tell them the issues you had? Is it possible they sent you the wrong kit?

I sent them an email. I didnt see any other kits listed, plus the instructions are labeled 99-02 fbody.

Im not expecting any compensation for it, nor do i want. But if they would check there inventory to make sure everything that is supposed to be in the box, is in the box, that would be cool. Just so people with lesser Haxor skill dont get stranded

It was a joke, estupido. BTW: I strained way to long trying to find another word that both started with F and rhymed with "Truckory". Even my wit has its limits.

So BLS and Adam are the dudes with a warm-up pinnie that was unemployed for the next 7 movies/15 years; and the disliked meathead in a mesh shirt, while you're Vin Diesel?

K, got it.

*edit*
BTW, opportunity missed not tossing Kirk on the biddie in the background.

As long as we get WaWa

LS1ow 03-05-2017 04:54 PM

As much as I would love to now, I think I'm going to end up leaving the car uncaged and gutted till I get it shook down and ready. I don't wanna throw a cage if I don't need it. I'm just hoping I do lol

LTb1ow 03-06-2017 12:31 PM

Bar now, or don't do it. Its a pain to do later once you have done up the car

He said running/driving, not carpet/finished car. He probably won't even have that stuff when "complete"

wretched73 03-06-2017 01:54 PM

Have you gotten prices on having someone install a roll bar? Or are you doing it yourself? Really just curious
