Yeah, 135mph trap speed triggers the same equipment as running 8.50-9.99. So cage, full suit, all the SFI rated doo-dads..........the whole pile. I can see not wanting to endure the expense and have it reduce the ability to comfortably cruise the car.
Would it be fairly simple, like pulling a little boost and fuel, to slow the car down to under the trap speed trigger? Or is the combo specific to the point that tuning the car down would be a gigantic PITA? |
Eh, why bother?
Would rather be a 1/8 bandit and just sail under the exact rulings. Theoretically the car can't go faster than 143mph, so not terribly concerned with that aspect of the NHRA rules. |

Been running around with a dumped exhaust but TS rules says I need a muffler but do not specifiy a dB rating so, say hello to this "muffler"
