There's a Viper club that plans to be there: http://www.viperalley.com/showflat.p.../o/all/fpart/1
And a general classic car club that cruises there regularly: http://clubs.hemmings.com/frameset.c...lassiccruizers ... among others who show up. Mostly you'll see individual locals there, parked or cruising, up and back. I haven't heard anything about reserving spaces there. I thought that was generally discouraged. Now if your buddy happened to drive past your spot and is on his way back, sure - step out and hold the spot. But no reserving spots ahead of time. I could be wrong. |

Any car club can reserve space in this area. We discussed this idea back in August and no one thought it was a bad idea then..... - Justin |
Parking infront of the court house isn't the same as on the mid section of main street. When I say parking on the street that is what I ment. Those places infront of the court house are perfect for groups and that's where we should park, not "in the street".
My reasoning is simple; I don't want to ruin what I consider an already great thing by imposing my daily driver into a crowd of immaculate muscle and classics. It's like girls trying to get into an all guys academy... you open the door to a lot of bad things. Heck, next thing you know the street would be full of late model mustangs pushing US out, so please, unless it's very clean don't park your 3rd or 4th gen on main street. Put it behind the church or down near the court house when we get a club reservation. There is also parking behind the shopping center on the south side of main street. The lot is huge making it perfect for group parking. |
couldnt have said it better myself jon :usa:

The only C5 I usually see there is that red one with all the pretty crap, CAI, and a mail-order tune that he claims puts like 430hp to the wheels
