More like 4. Theres 3 on the back alone. Theres one upside down under the back bumper. She also used to have one upside down under the front bumper. Either the pics are old since its not on, or she took it off. Actually, looking at the wallpaper pics on the car domain page, you can see it on.

She had a bumch of enforcers on TGO. "LT1 guy" (her b/f) would always attack any negative opinion someone had. "Crazyhawiian" and "Revlimit" were her pals too. It was atually funny to see the whole appearance board flame war each other.

Savage_Messiah 09-02-2005 08:53 PM

Ugly car but at least theres some proof that 3 inch > 2.5

PBodyGT87 09-02-2005 11:14 PM

she has freakin fiero valve covers, heads, block, oil pan, oil filter and trans. what the ****.

BigAls87Z28 09-02-2005 11:52 PM

That is actualy a big mod that a lot of 2.8 owners do to there engine. A friend of mine that lives out in Ohio helped his gf "Fieroize" her 2.8 Camaro. I think I have the pictures around here.

they're called... get ready... "red line tires". Â*they came as standard equipment on some first gen camaros.

No, I got un-lazy and looked up the name. They are BF Goodrich Scorcher T/As. The red is actually in the tread, not on the sidewall like the one's you're referring too. They come in red, blue, and yellow.

BigAls87Z28 09-03-2005 10:49 AM

Yeah, the oh so popular Scorcher TA's. They have little bands of colored tread. I thought they had discontinued them because they were so unpopular. The tire was designed to attract the sport compact people who would want to have tires match the color of the car.....

All I could think of after seeing that red tint is the scene from "Pulp Fiction" where that punk in da back seat "accidently" gets his brains blown out...
Hmmm, maybe a "cleaner" can go out and clean up dat mess of an F bod!

ohhh boy....that's probably the 16 millionth time i've seen that car.

at first glance, it's not too bad. then you start to notice little things, like the stacked spoilers, and the spoiler under the bumper, etc. etc. and you begin to wonder "What in the hell did she do?" all in all, it adds up to a slow, and stupid-looking car.

jims69camaro 09-05-2005 05:05 PM

... that she's won trophies for! best in class (i think she was the only one to show up), best f-body, best firebird. i'm just surprised that she hasn't been here yet to argue about how nice her car is compared to the masses of rusting, primered, nasty camaros and frebirds up on blocks/jackstands.

skorpion317 09-05-2005 06:07 PM

i also love her post on fullthrottleV6:

Car is not running what it should... even on drag radials the car si spinning off the line... we ahve been thru all the idiot driver theroies and that is not it... hte car is very lowered and has a non posi rear. So one of my next mods are coilovers up front so i can change spring rates up from for darg days and a spohn torque arm so i can fix my angles! Figure that will make tons of difference!

What I'm running... car weighs 3383 w/o me!

60 foot time: 2.318 1/8 Mile ET: 10.676 1/8 Mile MPH: 63.66 1/4 Mile ET: 16.781 1/4 Mile MPH: 81.07

sounds like stock 3.4 times to me....

and she shouldn't blame her times on a non-posi rear, with 3.73's i might add. my old 3.8 had an open diff, and pulled a 2.1 60' and a 15.4 ET with 3.08's.

I dont believe the 3.4 was optioned until 93 with the 4th gens...it was the 2.8 then eventually the 3.1 in the 3rd gens...I have no clue what they ran stock though.

skorpion317 09-05-2005 06:18 PM

she swapped in a 3.4.

ahh...i looked at the pics of the car & that was about the extent of it...saw the stock 3rd gen intake & assumed it was a 3rd gen motor as well.

why on earth would you think someone would swap in a 3.4 in place of the 2.8, anyway? most people looking to improve their 1/4 times swap in a v8.

true, it does seem a little odd. but then again, the 3.4 L was probably the best engine ever produced by gm. :burnout:

i have no idea, but that's what she did. maybe she wanted to keep it a V6? even then, she should have gone for the 3.8 over the 3.4.

BigAls87Z28 09-05-2005 10:30 PM

3.8 is a 90* V6 where the 3.4 is an updated version of the 2.8, as both come from the same 60* V6 family.
