and wayfast84, his "team" is his group of friends that goes to hardcore shows and rocks the pit! :headbang:

tim, Bullet For My Valentine rules, As I Lay Dying is hardcore as hell, definitly not MTV material, silverstein is screamo, and I havent heard pelican but story of the year has its MTV moments.

and to add a bit about the bands:

Funeral For A Friend are sick. very good UK screamo type band with some great song structures.

Dredg are a bit more mellow experimental type and incredible musicians. not really the kind of band a normal hardcore kid would like, but definetley worth checking out.

As I Lay Dying are INCREDIBLE. totally upper end metal/hardcore band. get this, they've toured with 6 feet under(greatest grindcore band EVER!!!!!!!!) and a host of other children scaring metal groups, but yet they are extremely christian. the singer said in an interview all the songs on their 1st CD were about Jesus but can relate to relationships because they don't make any of their songs specific to religion. definetley a must see band in 06!

about 32 bucks for a ticket from ticketmaster. I'll probably try to get mine from vintage vinyl cause its usually a few buck cheaper there.

are they selling them at VV???

Ian 01-04-2006 12:19 AM

the continental airlines arena show is sponsored by starland ballroom, and they always sell starland tickets there, so I assume they would sell them there. I'll have my friend josh check, he lives right around the corner from there.
