That's not beer pong, that's Beirut! Beer pong is when you play 2 vs 2 on a ping pong table with paddles and a net like normal ping pong. You try to sink the ball in one of the cups(each player has a cup of beer in front of them) but it's played like normal ping pong and you have to return the shot. Each point the losing team drinks. I'm still trying to figure out when Beirut suddenly became beer pong, but back in the 80's beer pong was different from Beirut. We still play beer pong(old style) and to make it more challenging we have it stacked 3 nets high so you can't hit line drive shots at the cups. We just played 2 weekends ago and went through two 30 packs between 4 of us.
