it took me 2 days to do my headers myself when i was 17...it just took me a week to swap the motor by myself...
i know its tough for the headers..the manifolds are a bitch...be happy its not your daily driver and you need it to get to school or work every day....dont give up...i mean if you dont like working on cars its one thing..but if you really enjoy it just take your time and do things right.. |
deffinatly get a can of PB Blaster.

lol ever think that those heat sheilds are on there for a reason? better check to see what kind of wiring and **** is arounfd those shields before u take them off
the only wires that i know that are around there are the spark plug wires and the o2 sensors at the bottom. i dont see why it would make a difference, (non ceramic coated) headers dont have heat shields..
as long a snothing is realy close to the manifolds i wouldnt worry about it, on some cars there are things that do get close enough, that if u take off the heat shirelds u could damge them
what im sayin is theyd come off anyway if i put headers on there
