it's a hard fact but with a car, 98% of the time you will never make anything CLOSE to what you've put into the car back.

Might wanna give ebay a shot. With the white interior the car is a little more rare, you might be able to get a little more for it.

What the hell man. You make a thread about "guaging interest" and to make a offer, people joked around at first, then they stopped and you stated you wanted 3-4k for it. I posted stating that i wouldn't pay more then 1800-2000 not to piss you off, nor to be a ass, nor to make fun and put you down. 100% dead serious that cars, in generial, are horrible investments. I know this first hand.

I sold a previous car i bought bone stock a few years back. I installed a TON of bolt ons and sold it for less then I bought it for. You will always see that on ebay. "OVER 50,000 invested", with a buy it now price of 17,000. Granted some of them are far fetched, but for the most part thats how it is.

Onto you, given the fact that you don't have too much invested in your car, your not going to take a big hit if you were to sell it. Hell, I tried to KBB your car and they dont go back to 84. The closest I got was 1986 Trans AM with your milage in fair condition is 1700 ish. Sorry if the truth hurts but thats why I try and save all the factory items that I can. That way when I do sell it, I put it back to stock and sell the aftermarket stuff separately. Every week your changing you mind on what your doing. I think I'm gonna call you "Fickle Matt" from now on. ... :)

Matt if you're gonna sell your car, I wouldnt pass this up

I sold my 87 GTA hardtop with SLP CAI, air foil, runners, headers, Y-pipe, high flow cat and 2OTL cat back for a grand. That's what a GTA went for, the first year they made them no less...no offense, but you will not get your money out of that car.

With what people just said, im going to say not for sale, but if anything changes you will be the first person to know.

Atta boy. And now, when it comes to mods to the car, be equally patient, ask questions, shop around THEN make a decision. I wonder how much money you've lost by buying parts then selling them cheaper than you bought them?

WayFast84 05-24-2006 08:32 AM

actually none right now, but prolly $99 right now my goal is mpg and 15 sec. I want the car to run 100% so I wont need a 4th gen daily driver. Yeah..I fell in love with her again!

Untamed 05-24-2006 11:43 AM

If it's a cruiser / driver, then mpg and comfort are tops. Adjust your planning accordingly. Honestly, thats the best choice for you at this point. Hell, that's where I am as well - budget mini restoration for a cruiser.
