Ah, but see, we're talking about insurance here. I know you work, that's good. But, mods are technically unnecessary. They aren't something you need, they are something you want. So I wouldn't expect that your mom pays for those. Heck, I just paid my own brother for working on my brakes for me. But you DO need insurance. The point is, you said that your mom promised to pay your insurance, so I'm assuming that's what she does, and that that's what she'll continue to do as promised. I'm not talking about mods or paint jobs, or transmissions, particularly ones you don't need (haha). I'm just talking about insurance. My car looks like crap right now cuz I can't afford a paint job. And I still owe my dad money for the parts he bought me to fix things everytime something broke. Try doing that and paying insurance. Then it gets tough. I'm glad you know what I'm saying. I'm just trying to make you realize that at your age, you've got it a lot easier than most of the rest of us do on the board here. That's fine, enjoy it while you can. But when you get to be 17 and you drive, and you get a better job (which by the way, the one you're working is paying you under minimum wage, that's no good! find another one) you'll find that you'll have a lot more responsibilities than you'd ever have expected, and it only gets worse. Haha. Sorry to be a killjoy. ;)

you bringing all this other crap into the equation, we were talking about insurance here not everyones bills. and as long as you brought it up; wasnt ur paint job and trans like 3k, or at least thats what you said thay were? so your parents ate that bill? they're also pay your insurance. um...how about gas whos gonna pay for that? its like 50 bucks to fill up a car and i bet your thing doesnt get good gas mileage either. doesnt seem like "your" car is really yours, i mean most money invested into it are your parents money not your. well and the fact that its under your MOMs name also has something to do with it. once you get out there and pay some bills like real people do then you're welcome to talk crap all you want for now ill politely advice u to shut it kid...

Same here, my parents never bought me a car, next paid for insurance, never had anythng to do with any of my vehicles. Hell I started working at 15 to start saving up and stuff. While it would've been nice to have some stuff paid for I learned responsibillity REAL quick, lol.

I pay my own insurance, paid my own insurance on the caprice i had too.

think the reason my insurance is so cheap is because my dad's in his sixties and has never had a serious accident. But i love how under our insurance policy, my mom's 06 eclipse GT is a 4 door...

anyone care to explain that little loophole?
