I like the taste of mixed drinks over beer anyday. Probably because the only beer regularly availble is the cheap stuff... Natty Ice, The Beast, Bud Light, Miller.... I just perfer to sip a rum & coke and enjoy the company.

I usually drink Yuengling if I plan on putting back several, but if I'm just hanging out and throwing back a few, I almost always stick with smaller microbrews. I like trying new ones, even if they are more expensive. Dogfishhead is a great microbrew that every beer drinker should try.

hard stuff is fine when all you care about is getting ripped. i prefer beer for the flavor, a good dark beer. not coors, bud, miller or any of those other piss waters. gimme a lager or a heavy ale and i will be happy.
