The guy who broke two driveshafts was Chris. I have known him for a few years. I order all sorts of stuff off of him for my work. Great guy would do anything to help some one out if they have problems. His motor is a N/A piece. The best part about Chris' car is that he was still taking it easy on it when it broke those two drive shafts. I got to see the driveshaft over at the shop yesterday man is it bad. Bammann does know how to make some big power and can get a car down the track as well as anyone I know. I have been helping Bammann out for the last 7 years or so at the track.

negative, its just more bottle volume....as long as your setup has a heater or blanket (or high quality blow torch for our old-school crowd) bottle pressures will remain the same with either size bottle....

oh and i think these guys with nine second nitrous cars know more about bottle pressures than you, and if the pressure is off, they PROBABLY dont spray the car untill they get back in the pits to find out why, some people dont like their cars burning up matt......

Nice job on getting in the 9's on motor. Hey did you see a 4th gen Camaro breaking driveshafts yesterday? My buddy was there and broke 2 different driveshafts. I could not believe it. I knew his LS1 was making some power but that is crazy.

i helped push his car off the track twice. i know he has a bobby bammann built motor in there it sounded really stout. but as soon as he launched it was such a horrible sound to hear. i felt bad for him but some guy that was there lived across the street and ran home and got him a steel shaft broke that one to. i forgot the guy w/the 4th gens name but he works with my son at CDW.

That was me you pushed, thanks for the help. Before I broke the second driveshaft I did mange to granny the car to an 11.47 @124mph (all motor).

The second break did the most damage by shattering the carrier/spider gears first which then caused the driveshaft to lock up etc. So now we're putting in a good steel driveshaft and spool for the 12bolt.

Spool is ~$200 & good driveshaft is ~$300 not including labor...I knew when I was getting into this game that I'll soon find out what the weakest links are and I guess I've found 'em.....

A bad day at the track is always better than a good day at work!
