79CamaroDiva 11-19-2006 07:25 PM

jeep just had open heart surgery. as soon as it recovers, it'll be better than new.

EDIT: and i think we should bracket race the cars.. beaters are tough to bracket race, but IMO its better than heads up.

Genie's beater is a 2007 Mercedes-Benz E350

F the cylinder/ age rules!

Hell.... my neon is too new for these rules!

NJSPEEDER 11-19-2006 09:57 PM

Ian 11-19-2006 10:05 PM

Mike 11-19-2006 11:42 PM

my beater has a ls2

Ian 11-20-2006 12:11 AM

mike I would hardly call your TBSS a beater.

BonzoHansen 11-20-2006 07:12 AM

OK, out of hand! :) Daily Driver does not mean Beater. To explain it better I'd need a venn diagram.

I'll even correct myself. Although you fear the Oldsmoblie, it is not a beater because I spent 2 hours cleaning the inside the other day. You do generally do not spend almost any time cleaning a beater, except the 10 minute car washes now and then - with leftover wash water from another car.

Therefore, you should now fear the 4.3L 1993 K1500 with no r/h door panel or window crank!

JL8Jeff 11-20-2006 01:39 PM

A daily beater has to be at least 15 years old and mostly stock. None of these newer daily driver's that you guys like to call beaters!

Tru2Chevy 11-20-2006 01:42 PM

Lumina is 15 years old. Only mods are.....the mass air intake!

My beater is my legs. That is all. It runs on 1 head, and its a 1985
