ls1 brakes would be a option upfront but for now no spacers...im against them. keep the ideas coming guys and thanks for the compliments, as we speak im working on pulling out the motor yet again.

WayFast84 12-23-2006 09:17 AM

dont pull the motor again for power, but if theirs something wrong fix it. Hows the interior? work on that and get some wheels.

I hate to say this but I want your car..

im just saying why pull the motor for more power now, I think its time he should enjoy this beutifull camaro, ie car shows

Rich189 12-23-2006 10:12 AM

man he built his whole car... its up to him what he does with it.... and personally man the car looks awsome i think id go with some iforged ccw simmons or fiske wheels.... but if ur anything like me u dont wanna drop 2500+ on just wheels... so id have to say irocs tt2's or other typical wheels

WayFast84 12-23-2006 01:13 PM

i know he built his car, Im not telling him to do anything, im just saying, i think instead of pulling the motor for more performance he should take some time to enjoy the sexy vehicle!!

V 12-23-2006 06:07 PM

when he gets his license im sure he will enjoy it, but from the progress cody has made, he can probably yank the motor do whatever and easily have it put it back in before his 17th birthday.

first off... killer paint man... who came up with that scheme? very nice looken... second iv seen an iroc on cardomain once that was lowered and it was black with silver stripes and it was running chrome 17 inch zr1's now i know zr1's are kinda played but they looked soooo sexy on this car i was shocked at how nice they looked if i can find the car again ill post a pic for ya just an idea... this car didnt have a 4th gen rear i dont think so im not sure about the clearence because im sure you dont want your tires sticking out 6 inches from the wells... so that im not sure about but anyway good luck with your car man truely and prized piece you got goin there.....

camaro2you 12-24-2006 10:49 AM

the scheme was me/painter, i wanted the black with blue and he came up with the color blue and he had the idea while he was in the booth to do the blue candy/pearl over the entire car.

do they make a c6 replica in the size you need?

WayFast84 12-25-2006 12:32 AM

they make it for 4th gens so the rear would be covered atleast..

depends which C6 wheels you want. they make the C6 Z06 wheels in correct offsets, but they are more expensive than TT2's, close to $300 each. there is no one that i know of making the C6 coupe wheels yet.

camaro2you 12-25-2006 04:39 PM

Can anyone find me the c6 z06's in the backspacing i need? thanks

Savage_Messiah 12-27-2006 12:56 AM

holy crap that looks good man

Tru2Chevy 12-27-2006 10:23 AM

http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com

They sell pretty much all C5 and C6 vette wheels to fit 4th gens, not sure about 3rd gens. You could run adapters up front though (WAY safer than spacers).
