so, i just found out from my mom that back when she was in hs, she bought her boyfriend a 70 cuda vert in pristine shape from a junk yard...
he proceeded to wreck it a month later. :banghead: |
That's a rediculous amount of money for the shape that car is in.

Prices of these things in general are just getting out of hand anymore. Mopars are hot now, their prices are going up alot faster than GMs or Ferds. My dream of a 71 Hemi Cuda will never be had, unless I make one, which will still be expensive. Its really a shame, because I know of a garage thats about 20 mins from here that has: 1968 Road Runner 440-6 4spd, 1970 Challenger 426 HEMI 4 spd, 1970 Hemi Cuda 4spd, 1970 Daytona 426 Hemi 4spd, 1971 Road Runner 426 Hemi 4spd. I got the chance to ride in the 71 Road Runner, and that was the turning point in my life of owning Mopars. Not much else like rolling around in a big block mopar car :-)

that I cannot say, because there are many more parts/Hemi motors/transmissions/rears that are around there and there are many more vehicles also.

So check it, I'm reading through the classifieds in the Bergen Record today.... Guess what's listed? A 1970 'Cuda, 440 6, auto, all original, #s matching (purportedly), asking $125K. No mention of condition though, but considerably cheaper than the rust bucket on eBay.

how much you wanna bet it was sold before you even read the ad?
