I usually use TaxCut software....had my parent's accountant do them last year. I'll be exploring free/cheaper options this year.

Family friend/accountant will be doing ours again this year...did it last year though I probably shouldve done it since I came up with the exact same figure as he did

Doing it yourself isnt that difficult...I just don't like having to buy a $20-30 program or hand writing it out so I go with whomever is cheap generally & just verify their number ='s mine lol.

I'm still waiting on one from one of my old jobs. My grandfather is a retired CPA so he does it for me.

Looks like I'll be getting back $1200-1300 this year. You can download the forms and instructions from www.irs.gov and figure it out pretty easy.

waiting on your W-2?
i'd contact them because you're supposed to have it by the end of January/1st week of Feb.

I have no idea how much I'm getting back but a second cousin of mine does ours... but my dad's saying now since I'm a dependent something about if i claim separate then it might take a chunk out of my parent's one... meh idk. Whatever I get back is going to credit card companies anyway... I think

i take mine to an account i've been using for about 7 years now. I used to get myself around 2500/150 fed/state...she got me around 5000/1200 cuz of stuff i just didn't know about tax laws and blah blah blah. this year i made too much on the part time so i didn't get as much (no procharger or turbo this year), but it was enough for gears, rear, tires and a truck

iamsickofitall 02-08-2007 08:16 PM

turbotax...getting $2500 back over here
