bro my budget was 1000 for 11's with out the motor cost factured in, I spent 980 on cam,heads(that would still need machine work)intake and a distributor. that was soposed to be a budget build with a budget head, i spent 400 on a carb and fuel pump, and i got free valve covers(thanks again baddest434!) its going to cost me another 300 for a used 700r4 thats going to blow up and a 3000 stall, and ill still be wasting my rebuilt 700r4.
ur not gonna land a 13 second slip, or lift a wheel on $800 i suggest you save, if you MUST have a v6 get a turbo buick, if not just get a damn lt1 or ls1.. i beleive it was in this thread, but why wont a 16'' rear rim be as good as a 15''? |
