A/C FTW

then again, my car is black interior (leather) and exterior, so it probably heats up a good bit more than most.

i had an all black grand prix with black leather interior...and i never used my A/C

I dunno....I thought 4th gens had only 1 belt, but I didn't think and early second gen big block car had a serpentine belt either.

I ditched my condensor back when I painted the engine bay and installed the long tubes; tomorrow i will be removing my compressor and the whole bracket on the passenger side of the engine. I picked up an alternator relocation bracket so that will take its place. My AC never worked that well in the iroc anyway and the T-bird blows ice cold, which is my DD, so it doesnt bother me

BonzoHansen 03-20-2007 02:30 PM

Savage_Messiah 03-20-2007 02:53 PM

AC is the most useless option in any muscle car. When your cruising in the summer, windows and t-tops(if you gottem) should be down and off. :w00t:

and then when those t-tops leak in a summer rain and you need to defrost fast while driving...the a/c compressor is very helpful.

I've had it since I was 18 and when I bought it, it was totaled and got to where it is now because of me; I'm only expanding. My dad has the same story with his 65 vette, so there are a few who keep their word.
