Yea, NY has a habbit of keeping good players on the bench, like Lofton, man was he pissed that year lol With all of the injuries from last year, I'm surprised they didnt keep Bernie around. He said he wanted to come back, even for less money, just to sit on the bench and play when they need him. Melky is good, and I'm sure he'll get a lot of time in this year. I'm sure you'll see movement on 1st with maybe Giambi playing the field and Melky DHing, or Abreu or Damon taking the day off. He'll get his hits.

Ok...BaRb will try to settle this...

A-Rod- AWESOME player!!! would never hesitate to have him on my team. He is going to break every record there is since is still pretty young. He has some playoff trouble but the rest of the Yankees can't seem to pick up the slack. A-Rod is going to hit 40+ homers (including his 500th), drive in 130+ RBIs, and bat .310. Playoffs? Too early to tell.

Now Jeter- No one on the Yankees should be captain more than him. He was there since 95 (late season call up, rookie year was 96) and is an awesome clubhouse leader. He has been clutch time and time again so the hero worship is warrented. Jeter has never really been 'off' during a season, so his numbers have been consistent.

Now every Yankee fan who wants A-Rod's head on a spike should calm down a little right now. He went 2 for 5 yesterday, do he is batting .400, with 1 homer and 2 RBI. And cut him some slack with the missed pop-up. All baseball players would know how hard it would have been to catch that in those conditions at the Stadium yesterday.

Now, on another note, I'm going to game on Thursday night :w00t:

And, one more thing, Go DEVILS!!!! hockey playoffs > MLB regular season
