I might try that. Last time I tried to the manual shift thing I went consistant 11.6s and .7s lol. We'll see. I have a few things I'm fixing this week then I'm going to do some test runs a "track" near my house lol.

LOL

That reminds me, I need to go see if my old burnout marks are still there from my video :)

i just figured out why kelsey runs faster in your car...shes smaller and lighter...think about it... .02 difference...

Demonicbird00 04-23-2007 03:46 PM

that would be crazy if they are still there!!

and the difference in weight wont affect the times that much.

I dont think u get as good of times when u manually shift an auto.

Usually, that's correct. There are times when you can benefit from shifting manually though.

w/ his rpm hang that hes having, maunally shifting it will make it run through the rpms and run through the "hanging area" cause the thrans knows that at that point it cant just shift into 2nd and make it run up to either the liimiter or him shifting it.

my car runs consistent 11.0s when i leave it in gear and let the tranny do the work... i never hit them right if i try to shift myself. i need a 12bolt so i can spray out the hole instead of at the 60ft mark.

Everytime I tried shifting my car I run slower. I can't shift it as fast or as well as the computer. I pretty much figured out what is causing the rpm hang. Apparently my car doesn't like stalling up the convertor.
