I'll keep that in mind then. I've only eaten there 3 or 4 times while visiting my wife's grandma - always had a good meal.

Anywho, glad to hear that the fire hasn't reached that far. The rain just started pouring here in Ewing, so it should be sweeping across the rest of the state soon.

Coming home from Seaside last night, you could see the smoke on 37, and while in Seaside, there was ash falling onto the boardwalk.

The parkway IS closed, but well well south of the Central Area, which ends between Toms River and Lacey Twp, the "609ers".....

Its still open as of 6:15pm Kim is doing 80mph on her way to AC. Only about 5 cars on the road.

Ahhh...was closed this morning. A manager that lives in Manahawken was supposed to come up, but that was a no go for him.
BTW, Sears opend up in Manahawken. Anyone need a job down there, holla at me.

bandit88 05-17-2007 05:59 AM

i can't hear a lot of helicopters this morning... the last couple of days it was constant.... they say they might have control of the fire by noon....

It took my mom (who left early for work the ambers and cinders were wirlfing around in her parking lot) 2 hours to get home! Traffic FTL

Tru2Chevy 05-17-2007 11:03 AM

They said on the 11:00 news last night that the fire was about 70% contained, and that all roads were open. They were planning on having it all contained today.
