I thank you guys who haven't given me crap about it. I'm about 67% sure it will make it to the road house this month

About 10-15 at the rear wheels from what I've heard.

any who I got a new problem. The pushrods are to short the intake rods are too short all together the exhaust rods fit the intake side, But from my research I need to pull some GM 3.3l pushrods to make this work....TO THE JUNKYARD!!!!!!!!

EDIT: Speaking of HP my total duration at the valve on this is .232/.243 and my lift is .484/.512, that aught to give it one hell of a sexy idle

kristen 09-19-2007 06:57 AM

you need the motor to the tracker from atco last thusday !!!

Isn't it nuts how sometimes a part from a completely unrelated engine platform (besides both being GM V6s) is exactly what you are looking for?

you're going to use junkyard pushrods instead of a pushrod length checker and just buying the right size new pushrods? i vote it makes it 30ft down the road

I vaguely remember an engine build that needed pontiac rockers on a ford engine or vice versa... Crazy...

I really wouldn't build a motor with that philosophy ....

trashman01 09-20-2007 07:01 PM

theres nothing wrong with used push-rods long as they are the length and are str8 who cares? sounds like the motor is a budget build.
