say "sure mom!" and park that prius thing in the street.... preferably in the middle of the street. Perpendicular to traffic.

88FormulaChick 05-25-2007 12:11 PM

haha seriously fidget..i actually layed across the driveway when she tried to pull it in after bringing it home from the dealership...i didnt move for like 20 minutes...it was funny...then she brought out the threats so i moved...

Savage_Messiah 05-25-2007 12:13 PM

shouldnt have moved, thats a sign of weakness and lack of conviction. If she runs you over, you win in the end!

Demonicbird00 05-25-2007 03:12 PM

good luck w/it hope u get it !!!!

COngrats! I remember the feeling of not knowing how to drive a M6 lol. Post up some pics when you can!! Also don't worry about the mileage. If the car was maintained properly you will have no problems. My 98 Ta has 137,500 on it and my SS has 65,300 on it and haven't had any problems.

Also for all the wrong info in this thread. Every single 4th gen came with 2:73's,3:23's and all M6's came with 3:42's. The way to check and see if you have 2:73's or 3:23's is the codes in your glovebox 93-97 or drivers side door build code tag 98-02. RPO GU2 is the 2.73 rear (2-series) and GU5 is the 3.23 rear (3-series)

:jake:

i had GU6 (3.42s) in my 97 W68 Firebird v6 my buddy also had the 3.42s in his 00 firebird

No no no no no.

First off 93-96 are in the glovebox, 97-02 were on the door. With that straightened out, my car came with 3.08s open (RPO GU4). Other (auto) v6's with the Y87 package/RPO came with 3.42s (GU6) / LSD (G80). Also all the (500 or so?) 95 3.8s got open 3.42s. 5-speed cars I believe got 3.23s (GU5).

First off about the glovebox, you are absolutely right. Also very right about the V6 stuff!! Good Call! I just wanted to post the facts about the V8 cars. Out of the 11 F-Bodies I owned only one was a V6 and i only had it for 10 months and i was 18 back then:)

Savage_Messiah 05-27-2007 08:39 PM

Ah gotcha, I don't know the v8 stuff, so now i guess it's all sorted out.
