thanks for the kind words, everyone. it's almost as though the full force has yet to hit me. i just started thinking about how i'll never be able to talk with her again, and i kinda lost it.

Sorry to hear about your loss jim :( My mom just lost her oldest sister this past month, with a very similar story.. they haven't talked in a while, sister got a blood borne cancer, we only found otu about her passing through friends of the family, not immediate family.. my prayers are with you through this very tough time.

jims69camaro 10-20-2007 07:31 AM

it's with the strength and support of friends that makes the passing of someone you love easier to bear. thanks again, everyone. knowing you care has made it much easier for me. it hasn't been an easy road, and i feel for others of us that have had to go through something like this. true empathy is not likely until you experience it for yourself.

thanks to everyone who responded, and those who looked in but didn't respond. i know it's not easy to respond to a post like this, especially if you have recently lost someone you loved.

Sorry to hear about your sister Jim. I've lost 2 uncles and an aunt this past year. Somehow both my grandmothers are outliving everyone else!

Tru2Chevy 10-20-2007 10:39 AM

So sorry to hear Jim, especially since you won't be able to attend services.
