I could have swapped the rear in 20min cause I was planing on it being a 3.23. So then I go to swap the gears out and I was giving a ring and pinion that don't match nor where they posi. So now i had to go get my 4th gen posi rear and by the time I got that loaded up it was 6:30. so there was no way I was gonna get that done in the dark and make it there...I'll just wait till i get my DRs and go next season.

So what youre saying is that u werent 100% sure that it was a 3.23 rear? and no offense, but theres no way you could swap rears in 20 mins. ive been thru a few rears in my time, and even with air tools, it would take longer than that.

You were at least prepared with shims, and a indicator and base to set for proper pinion depth and preload I hope. Then ready to set the proper backlash.
Are you spinning at the line at all. If not, then I wouldn't spend the money on tires just yet until you need them.
