That was a great time, our first year there. Can't wait to go back!

PolarBear 01-24-2008 09:35 AM

If I went I would assume that I would be parking in a different area then the Camaros?

mudjnky 01-24-2008 12:19 PM

We were there under the ACA (American Camaro Association), if you don't have a Camaro You would probably just register with Carlisle and they would park you in your respective class. There are different sections for different classes/groups.

My birthday is June 20th - perfect gift to myself.

lrdvadr 02-07-2008 09:52 PM

I'll be there Friday to Sunday.

IROCZBeast 02-09-2008 09:50 AM

anyone know about how long of a drive this is from North Jersey, Clifton to be exact?

BonzoHansen 02-09-2008 10:27 AM

takes me ~3hrs or less to get there.

bad64chevelle 02-10-2008 08:54 AM

I am probably gonna take my dad June 20th is his birthday, and he really needs to start making plans to get out more. He has been working two jobs and has had no time to mess with his cars, so this may get him back in the mindset.

DaSkinnyGuy 06-12-2008 09:14 PM

Ok I have been thinking of doing this. June 20th is my b-day / graduation so i have off for the weekend. I was planning on driving out early saturday morning and coming back late saturday. But its not 100% my car is still at the body shop so it all depneds on when that comes out

chevyt454 06-12-2008 09:35 PM

I'm doing a 350 swap on my car right now. Hopefully I can make this a test run!

BonzoHansen 06-13-2008 09:26 AM

BTK (w/Joe) and I (w/James) will be rolling out of Hamilton Friday AM. I think we left early last year, like 6. Get through the tough parts of the TPK pre-rush hour. Be there for lunch.

BonzoHansen 06-16-2008 11:49 PM

BTK says we leave at 630 AM!

Pampered-Z 06-17-2008 09:20 AM

I'll be at E-town the entire weekend.

Scott, don't forget to wear some nice high socks so you can get those cool tan lines Anna likes so much. :loser:

BonzoHansen 06-17-2008 11:16 AM

I discussed that with her last night. I have new & improved socks for sexier ankle tan lines.

firebirdcrazy 06-17-2008 04:41 PM

I will be going Sat morning

DaSkinnyGuy 06-17-2008 07:32 PM

There were over 900 Camaros last year...then all the other GM cars....and you have nothing better to do....

Well kind of because its my birthday / graduation weekend and my family would like me to come to the shore house in capemay for the weekend. But i can make the choice to come to the car show.

Rich2279 06-19-2008 07:53 AM

Is this a swap meet also or just the car show?

It's the GM Nationals and the Camaros at Carlisle. Car show, swap meet, car corral, etc. If you want to see some of the rarest GM cars out there, this is the place to go.

Just got back as a day trip..not to bad thought it would be a worse ride. 3 1/2 to get there 4 1/2 to get back way NNJ (heavy rain the last hour) Very cool show very cool people. next year I do the weekend gig with wife at a hotel. No question its worth the ride.

JL8Jeff 06-21-2008 07:33 PM

I got back about an hour ago. Nice turnout, but not as many top flight restored cars, a lot more modified and nice drivers. It seems like the gas crunch has hit the big players more than the little guy! I had a good drive out at 6:15 this morning and just as good coming home around 5. The car is making some new noises so I need to get under it and see what came loose this time!
