Kinda hard to buy parts with no money...you should know about that:moon:

:w00t: to more 3rd gens! Welcome!

unstable bob gable 02-13-2008 03:39 PM

Welcome aboard. Turd gens are cool...I think when I get back into the F body scene I'm gonna look for a Turd gen myself. And around here the folks are pretty cool w/ any kinda car except rice. We've got Mopars, other GMs besides F bodies, Mustangs, all kinds of trucks, etc. I myself have a Buick T-Type, and I'm also the resident AMC screwball. So, we're pretty automotively diverse.

JerzyIroc 02-13-2008 04:53 PM

ya its easy. but not if you dont have the right tools. i dont have any line wrenches with me. i dont even know whats the right size to use. i thought it would have a lower and upper hose set up like other cars but its got the one piece which is easy. but the only size i have for the metal line is a 12MM and its a hair too big. its starting to strip it. if i strip it im screwed. anyone know what size it is? ill go to freakin autozone and get a line wrench if i have to but i need to know the right size. anyone?

JerzyIroc 02-13-2008 05:29 PM

anyone?

JerzyIroc 02-13-2008 06:04 PM

im freezing out here guys!!! someone help!!! lol. what size line wrench do i need!!

V 02-13-2008 08:15 PM

if 12mm is too big, then its 7/16

JerzyIroc 02-13-2008 10:11 PM

ya i can never figure out the metric to standard conversion. i just used a vice cuz i couldn't find my 7/16. works good. my girlfriend took two pics of the car a few days ago. how do i posit them?

the only thing with the pass side is the lower part of the bumper really. the rest of it is fine. actually the entire lower part of the bumper is messed up lol. on the driver side it looked just like the passenger side, clean. but three days after i got it i got hit by a truck. hopefully within the next two weeks ill get the check and get the car redone. good looking car in good condition, interior in decent condition, and good running 350 tpi for basically free. my boy gave me that nissan 240 for free. i traded the 240 for the msutang even. sold the mustang for 1300 and bought the iroc for 700! so actually i kinda got the car free plus 600 bucks! cant beat it 8-) but anyway, there she is!

SteveR 02-14-2008 08:32 PM

just to be that guy...IROC's never came with different colored ground effects. they were monochromatic

but while we're on the subject of blue IROC's, my friend curt has a 1990 IROC thats blue. its a sweet car, but he NEVER drives it!
