that sucks!

Hey guys, I came back from vacation Monday and my camaro is STILL for sale if you guys know anybody. I have to get rid of the car by the weekend because I put a deposit down on a truck and the money from the camaro is going to buy that. At the end of the weekend, the guy is keeping my deposit and selling the truck to someone else as he as be holding it for over a month now. So if you guys know anyone, it be appreciated if you can help me spread the word. I'm open to all reasonable offers. My cell is (862) 202-4944. Thanks, Jeff.

Pressure is building, ha ha. Have to sell the car by tomorrow night or the truck I put a deposit on is going. I dropped the price of my car down to $1,600, so if anybody knows someone looking, please help me out. Thanks, Jeff.

Well, I still have the car and I got the guy to hold the truck for a few more days. Its funny how much some people have been offering me. One guy offered me $500 and I told him I'd sell him my 4.5" Cowl Hood to use as a bike ramp, then he responded w/ $900, so I told him I'd sell him the bike to go w/ it, ha ha, some people are unbelievable. -Jeff.

Parting it out might yield more $$. |
yeah, i hate to say it, man, but you can only expect about a G for it. consider its condition, not your sentimental value, and you'll see that i am right. that probably doesn't get you in the door for the bronco, unfortunately.
it sucks to be in between a rock and a hard place, but look at the big X at your feet and you'll see where you are. and, as the pressure mounts, you feel less and less like you want to sell it, but you have to sell it... i feel for ya, bro. |
Hey guys, I would part it out, but I don't have time to sit in my driveway and take everything apart piece by piece. The car is worth more than a $1,000, not just my sentimental value, it is worth $2,000 considering it has over $4,000 in high performance parts. The motor was about $5,000 that the kid before me put in. The car still starts up right away and runs, its just one bad rod bearing. The transmission was rebuilt 2,000 miles ago. 2 sets of rims are going with it, on it now is 15x7 Pro-Stars in the front and the backs are 15x10 Pro-Stars, the other rims going with it are stock Z28 rims from a '97, 4.5" cowl hood, MSD street fire distributor, MSD 6A ignition, B & M torque converter, B & M Ratchet shifter Edelbrock 750 Carb, brand new Moroso shocks, Flowmaster exhaust, once the bearing is fixed, the car will run a lot better. I hear ya about the lowballers. For BigAl, the $950, I'll give ya the helmet to go with ramp and bike, ha ha ha. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for sticking by with me as I try to sell my car. I've had quite a few offers of $1,800, and two were actually coming with a trailer, but one guy's wife said no, and the other bought a '92 instead w/ no motor or trans. However, I do have one person interested right now that might buy it this weekend from me for $1,800, so everybody say a prayer, ha ha, and keep your fingers crossed for me. Thanks again, Jeff.

Mods & hi-perf parts do not mean increased value. In fact they often reduce value. And the cost of the engine is irrelevant if it is beat. Rod bearing = engine is beat to a buyer.
Just $0.02. Good luck, I hope you get the $$. |
