unforgiven 3 is badass

BigAls87Z28 09-10-2008 09:06 PM

My brother has had it for a while now. Ive listened to it a few times, and its very good. My brother was trying to explain the signifigance of it.
He said that St.Anger was bad for Metalica Fans looking for a return to the past, but the music wasn't too bad.

edit: just ripped and burned the CD.

This just in Anthrax sold out big time.

I think that half of Death magnetic is VERY good, Cyanide, Judas Kiss, and two other songs on there which I havent memorized yet... They remind me of the old stuff. A couple songs remind me of load and a couple of black album. Its kind a mix mosh but i still think alot of the rhythm riffs remind me of load/reload and the lead reminds me of the good ol thrash. Actually kind of a cool mix if you think about it.

Lol YEAHHHHH BOY. All I need to say is "Bass, how low can you go?"

ins0mnia24 09-10-2008 10:19 PM

Haha yeh the Anthrax sell out was pretty funny they have a big hit with Bring the Noise.
Switch record companies for a 10-15 Million dollar advance.
Then Fail

BonzoHansen 09-10-2008 10:51 PM

That wasn't sellout rap wasn't big then. That was a real chance they took back then. Public enemy was hardcore rap then. And that song is still better than unforgiven1 2 or 3.

ins0mnia24 09-10-2008 11:43 PM

Dont forget they did that I'm the Man e.p. years before that
If I remember correctly it was also their 1st Platinum album.

I love all forms of metal.Old school, power metal,prog/power,speed/thrash,grindcore,black metal, symphonic, atmospheric, hair metal, death metal and hardcore. For you to say thrash is dead is ignorant. I guess you haven't heard the latest from Testament,Exodus,Overkill,Warbringer or Municipal Waste. When bands like Trivium and Killswitch Engage do covers of your songs that sound more like your ***** than you've sounded like in 15 years, that just proves my point. Megadeth didn't sell out. Neither did Judas Priest,Iron Maiden, Slayer,Exodus,Testament,Overkill, DEATH ANGEL ,Danzig,Venom,Dimmu Borgir,Immortal,Type O Negative,Ozzy, Dio,Queensryche,Motorhead,Kreator,Sodom, Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, or Sepultura.

Sorry...fixed
I don't mean to keep :horse: that is Metallica, but I heard the album and don't understand all the hype. This album does not make up for the last 3 abortions. Plus there have been alot of great albums released this year. Did anyone get Judas Priest's Nostradamus? Masterpiece! How about Slipknot's, Walls Of Jericho, or Straight Line Stitch's new albums? Maybe Keep of Kalessin, Kataklysm,Into Eternity,Kingdom of Sorrow,In Flames,Children of Bodom,Ihsahn or Opeth?

Aaron Lewis (lead singer of Staind) did this cover with Limp Bizkit back in the Nu-Metal era... For a man whos 90% of his material involves an acoustic, that ****er can rap

It was on a cd called Take A Bite Out Of Rap featuring metal bands of that era doing old school rap songs..
that version is pretty good them doing Bring the Noise over top of the guitar player playing Sweet Leaf from Sabbath..

7 dust did a good remake of Going Back to Cali
Cotton Mouth Kings did My Mind is Playing tricks on me from what ever that rap group was that had the Midget
I forget who did but there was a Hilarious version of Got you all in check/ Let me clear my throat...

OPETH 's album is brilliant! Listen to the tracks "Porcelain Heart" and "Heir Apparent". If you don't think they're as good as "Ghost Of Perdition" and "The Grand Conjuration" I'll buy you the new Metallica album, Kasey.
