i know 90 percent of the troopers at division hq. i also rock a nj state police identifier in my rear view mirror that allows me on grounds at the hq no question s asked. its big and bright yellow and usually gets me out of any of the random troopers i dont know.

It's the local cops on 31 you need to be aware of.

//<86TA>\\ 10-08-2008 07:18 PM

and they sit in HI's parking lot behind the stagecoach sign a lot too

Not me. If one of them pulls in behind me, I'll signal them to switch to ch 1 CB and chat with them... after all, 5 of the Hopewell Twp. cops live in my neighborhood and chat with me regularly. :)

I know all their speed traps, too. There's 8 total, counting HI Ribb itself, from 95 to HI Ribb, plus a few on 95 most people don't know about.

i dont like em. hamilton pd is the worst pd ive ever had to deal with. they show up and do nothing. i swear half of them must be braindead and the rest of them are their inbred children getting hired.

Mike 10-08-2008 11:34 PM

umk

*shrugs* no problem with hamilton cops either

bad64chevelle 10-09-2008 08:11 AM

I have had zero luck with any Hamilton cop I have ever had to deal with. Once was pulled over for a license plate bulb that was out, once because the cop thought my Camaro was too loud (stock exhaust at the time) and once because I locked the rear brakes up in the truck because a light turned red way too fast in the rain and I slid. All three times I was pretty much yelled at and talked down to like I just lead them on a high speed chase for 45 minutes. I was extremely polite and apologetic to the one when I slid in the rain, but still was screamed at by the officer. So Mike, I know you know some of them but in my opinion that's three strikes on only three interactions.

PolarBear 10-09-2008 09:58 AM

I have only had one "bad" interaction with Hamilton. I was going maybe 28 or 29 in a 25 and a cop said I was going at least 30. Of course he was using his highly calibrated eye and not the radar though, there were a bunch of them standing around in the apartments behind where I lived at the time. He also treated me like I had led them on a high speed chase or something.
My other interactions with the Hamilton police were not for any moving violations and they all were pretty nice about the situations. IMO Plainsboro cops are the ABSOLUTE WORST PD I have ever dealt with and their crooked judges..... :-x

plainsboro is rough......

NastyEllEssWon 10-09-2008 12:39 PM

hey chevelle, dont worry man...the last 3 times ive been pulled over by a hamilton cop they always....and i dont mean most of the time....i mean always ASK TO SEARCH MY CAR. i always oblige because i dont do anything illegal for them to find. i even had a hamilton Narc officer pull me over around the corner from my sisters house accusing me of trying to buy drugs. i literally had to walk with him around the corner so my sister could vouch for me that i was at her house

every hamilton cop ive ever dealt with was just disrespectful and pig headed and dont want to hear anything you have to say. theyre all on a power trip.

never dealt with plainsboro cops. trenton pd is my favorite. they usually check your license registration and run your name for warrants. most of the time theyll let you go cause the paperwork isnt worth it.

edit: That being said. HI RIBS sounds tasty as hell. Wet naps for all
