I always wanted an 84 convertible....*sigh* i guess my 86 iroc will have to do for now....

Lower it and paint the chrome snap strip to match the red and it will be perfect.

I don't think I've ever seen an early third gen convertible. Both do look nice and the wheels look fitting on the Camaro.

It's aftermarket, first factory 3rd gen 'vert was '87.

Actually I never really liked red until I bought the Camaro, used to always have Black cars.. Oh, and I guess it doesn't help that I married a Red head... :)

I actually plan to remove the chrome snap strip and just screw the snaps to the deck lid like the T/A. Oh, and it IS lowered! 1.5 inches, I didn't want to go too low.

Not exactly "aftermarket", it was a factory upgrade that got performed by a company called AutoForm that was sanctioned by GM. You had to order the car like that, it was a $5500 upgrade, which is why not many people did it, seeing as that was more than the actual car cost at the time. :)
