what makes a parking lot different from a racetrack?

LTb1ow 01-15-2009 08:16 PM

So I can't do burnouts in my driveway?

Mike 01-15-2009 08:49 PM

i didnt say anything about burnouts. i said its not the same as a racetrack. if you need the difference between parking lot and race track explained, you completely missed the point.
1. insurance
2. safety
3. other people around expect cars to be flying around

love the 'Police Academy' theme song playing when the pig shows up...lol...classic.

They should have sent that cop over to the Blue Oyster Bar, would probly be very popular over there in his uniform!!!

Racetrack has insurance. You can stil get in trouble on private property. May not be wreckless driving but they we still get you for something

any property with public access, ie: a parking lot with open access to public roads with no restrictions to entry, means public law enforcement. Anything you are expected to do safely on the road next to the mall, counts in the mall parking lot too.

It is not legal to unsafely operate a vehicle anywhere outside of controlled, legal, circumstances. In other words, keep it at the track.

Theres picts somewhere from the 07 firkin meet of me smoke screening the parking lot wth the V6....and thats why its dangerous

sweetbmxrider 01-16-2009 03:51 PM

i said restricted access to the parking lot. unless you are in ac, a private lot will have insurance, and that means this **** flies.

i understand they were out on a street and are dumb.

NJSPEEDER 01-16-2009 05:00 PM

Lot insurance wouldn't cover allowing burnouts and such. Lot insurance is for accidents, not the unsafe operation of vehicles.
