Resistor would be my guess.

Yeah, it is. But I'd spend the $. You don't want it to fail on you when you need it most.

God knows when I would actually be at anything over 6k. Its a DD still. lol

I think you can interface a two step, pull timing etc right?

Interface? I don't think so. It can be part of an ignition system with a two step, timing controller, window switch, etc but it will not be "aware" of other stuff in the system.

Well yea, sorry, "interface" is a bit much to describe it. But I can plug in a two step or timing retard box into the 6AL right?

I am pretty sure you can. Call MSD to be sure though.
