so working for dodge makes you know everything about them? by the way....just because you held up a counter at the parts department...doesnt mean you know everything that goes wrong with them...

crazyblazer87 01-28-2009 08:50 PM

i bought my gmc for 1050 and i had to put a floor in it. Just saying that i don't want to hear the complaints about you needing to fix a lot. and i thought you had a bronco II

no not running. the upper intake,w/p.rad and what not if out of it, it needs a pan gasket and flexplate which are sitting in the truck. i paid 200 but it was 400 total. me and a friend went halves. but ill take 200 for it and just give him the 200 back lol.

You sir will have a PM shortly. My cousin was looking for a project truck. Ill see if hes interested.

crazyblazer87 01-28-2009 09:11 PM

so you ask what kind of truck to buy and you end up pretty much selling your bronco II.

Knipps 01-28-2009 11:14 PM

if you can't find something you like expand your search a little

Out of the choices, the Bronco is the best buy. The ford pickups were likely beaten on, and the tahoe looks like it had soccer mom usage. The leather is all cracked, theres stains everywhere. The body looks OK (shiny paint) but I think the drivetrain may be reaching the end of its life. If you want to go off road, the bronco could easily be lifted if you desired, but it seems like it was the most well-maintainted and cared for of the bunch. The rust described is common for those trucks. You should still keep searching though, there will be some real deals out there.

caps come off of broncos really easy for hauling

ta350 01-29-2009 05:49 AM

I know the owner of the second one. He just got a brand new truck. Hes upfront about everything, He works at a dealership and prolly one of the smartest kids I know that can rebuild an engine correctly to specs.

SirLazardus 01-29-2009 01:56 PM

Honestly, I think the F350 is a better buy if you plan on going off-road. Can't go wrong with a Sterling, Dana60 and a C-6 trans.

The bronco is in good shape. He re-did the bottom end about 6 months ago, very good job never beat on it either... I ride quads with him and see him every morning at wawa
