sweetbmxrider 03-12-2009 09:36 PM

sometimes function > form

LTb1ow 03-12-2009 09:37 PM

Yea, I may switch back to them for the time being.

Can you remove a stamped on balance weight and replace with the sticky ones?

BonzoHansen 03-12-2009 09:38 PM

yes

LTb1ow 03-12-2009 09:39 PM

Sweet, I do not like them on my OEM ZR1s, and was yelled at for letting some one do that to em.

sweetbmxrider 03-12-2009 11:05 PM

what the hell is a stamped on weight? you mean a clipped on? balancing with sticky weights suckssssssss but its doable. just remind me.

you remove all of the weights anyways to rebalance a tire.

BigAls87Z28 03-13-2009 12:02 AM

Ohh, its not that bad. Little soap and water, scrub off the spot, and whao! Balanced.

Mounting/Balancing isn't hard. But to the people that have it down to an artform, they are the greatest tech you can have.
