WildBillyT 04-30-2009 03:55 PM

That vette will be more trouble that it's worth...

madness410 04-30-2009 04:27 PM

maroman88 04-30-2009 04:52 PM

1.) New everything, basically. FIRST YEAR of new everything.
2.) Have fun finding one year only parts
3.) Motor sucks
4.) Trans sucks
5.) The Corvette Tax
6.) Argueably the ugliest year

madness410 04-30-2009 08:05 PM

hmm good point. yeah that would suck finding parts for a one year only car. definately wouldnt be my pick of years for a corvette but a corvette is a corvette in my eyes lol. ill see what else he has to say about it.

91chevywt 04-30-2009 08:31 PM

The corvette probably has issues...84 is one of the least desirable years. Imagine instead of an overheating problem having other problems. I'll bet the 6 cylinder camaro is probably a better bet if it is in decent shape. I'll bet its someone looking for more performance. It would probably be better to have that car and have no problems than worry about overheating.

madness410 04-30-2009 08:57 PM

yeah thats what I was thinking. it's a 6cyl 5 speed with ttops...160k miles they are asking 2500 I found their add on craigslist. if they wanted to trade and I was interested what would u think is fair

NastyEllEssWon 04-30-2009 09:15 PM

id take his car and a grand on top at minimum.

ahah the only reason i sold my 86 camaro so cheap was because i just wanted to get it gone. it became the insurance money for my z28

QFT I agree completely

madness410 05-03-2009 01:45 AM

what is QFT?

but yeah that 6cyl is out of the question..has 160k on it..it will die any day now lol

Jersyboyy 05-03-2009 01:49 AM

U doubled my post count you whore high miles yes but a grand cash and if it runs good its still the best thing u got going...at least you can drive it for 6 months before it goes because of high miles as your car now has sat for how long because it cant be driven more than 3 miles?

NastyEllEssWon 05-03-2009 02:29 AM

i said a grand at the minimum, id start out looking for 17-2k on top of his car. theres no way a 5 speed v6 will sell for 2500
