I can put a lemon through a piece of 3/4 plywood. Easy.
THAT is friggin' AMAZING.

Not a firearm. HOWEVER, if it LOOKS like a firearm, and someone sees it and tells the police that they believe it to be a firearm, charges for possession of an imitation firearm can result. In order for it to be considered an actual firearm, it has to expel a projectile powered by gunpowder, not compressed air.

ANYTHING can be perceived as a weapon if it is used as such. For example, if I stab someone with a pencil, I'll be charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

I had one made outta sched 40 pvc, butane injection and the bbq igniter in the back. It was freaking awesome but after so many launches the back cap got weak so on the last launch it blew up in my face. Lost an eyebrow, eyelash and half a goatee. Looked abit goofy for awhile(easy thing for me anyway!) but lucked out, Coulda been alot worse.

I need a bigger back yard. :(

Shooting practice golf balls is no where near as fun as the real ones.

yea potato cannons are blast, but i dont get how people are getting them to shoot like potatoes thru like plywood and all that. Whenever my friends and i screw around with em we only get em to go about 300-500 ft maybe but the potatoes just splatter as soon as they hit the plywood.
Also we built one that used a glow plug from a diesel engine. Sketchy is all i can say about that

Pft!

More power is always better!

My small cannon can put dents in plywood with paintballs. :)

Nah, its called a hybrid. Most people use propane and compressed air. Once you get the ratio down, they make a lot of power. Only thing that sucks about em are burst disks, so you should make a piston one. ;)

Actually, in the state of NJ Airsoft guns are considered firearms.

LTb1ow 06-21-2009 11:31 AM

State of NJ ftl. Although I have never had a problem with any of my cannons.
