You should have come out to the Wyckoff show tonight. There was a black 5th Gen there; your S.I.M would have made a nice addition

I've been on vacation and working Virtual Office from home so I haven't been out & about - I usually commute 80 to 206 South each morning and reverse in the PM - I'll be on the road again next week.

I was out yesterday having '67 V-Flags (as a nod to the 1st Gen that started it all) and Gorillia "The System" Locking Wheel Lugs installed (pics attached) so anyone on 206 N/S above Newton would've seen me between 4-6pm.

On the way up I was following by chance a 2010 Camaro in Rally Yellow - nice to see another 5th Gen on the road.

The crossed flags look good on it. What shop did you have 'em done at?

Thanks - I got the V-Flags from Ground-Up http://www.ss396.com, for $13.95 each - no shipping or tax. I took the Camaro to Fonzarelli's on 206 North in Augusta - they worked on my wife's G6 GT Hard-top Convertible when a deer hit her on Route 80 East two years ago (not the other way around but that's a story for a meet) and they do high quality work. Billy the Body Shop Manager put on the vinyl hood spears & trunk blackout as well as the V-Flags. For the V-Flags he had to cut off the posts, used body filler to smooth out the back, let it cure and then used 3M Auto tape to affix them to the fender. Total cost including the flags ran me $124 - reasonable as I wanted to link this car to its heritage from the '67.

I highly recommend Fonzarelli's - if you go there ask for Billy or Albert.

I also have a "Camaro by Chevrolet" chrome badge which I want to place on the grill above the "RS" - I need to figure out brackets to hold it in place - it looks fantastic just holding it up so I'll try to get that done soon as well. The Script is too much to fill in and then cut 3M tape over otherwise I'd put in on the top bumper. As clearly I don't want to drill holes the grill option is the way to go for me.

Except for the "RS" badges (back-ordered ones same as trunk lid) which I intend to put on the hood spears I am just about done with the mods - any more and I'll go beyond subtle...

Nice, I guessed that was the place. That place always used to have tons of nice old cars around when it was still called Newton Auto Body, good to hear that they still do great work.
