He's probably looking for something that will benefit all members, not just ls1 owners

Whiplash Performance 09-10-2009 10:04 AM

Looks like I'll be doing a suspension parts and also i'll see what I can do with the fast 92/92 the 90 is no longer available.
Would you guys just want the throttle body and intake combo or just the intake manifold?

V 09-10-2009 10:17 AM

Personally, i'd need a TB as well.
I think ive seen 92/92 combo goes for like 1200shipped.. stilljust high enough to make me hesitant.

Yea... :|

transmaro93 09-10-2009 06:13 PM

maybe you should look into those "drag" rear sway bar kits.... they are kind of expensive and if you can get them in a GP for a decent price im sure they would sell like hot cakes.... depending on how many have them... i know spohn makes a good one... and im talken the one that relocates all the mounting points.... they are supposed to help the car launch strait as an arrow.... just a thought if you go the susp route... i could prob name 4 or 5 people that would be interested in one if the price was right..... including my self... if not well see what else you come up with...

sweetbmxrider 09-10-2009 07:41 PM

i'd be interested in a spohn drag bar if its a good price or strange shocks actually

JerzLT1 09-11-2009 04:35 PM

Spohn drag bar blows actually, either the bar or your rear (shock mounts) usually have to be modified for it to fit, the wolfe is much better but yes they are to make your car launch straight

sweetbmxrider 09-11-2009 05:19 PM

yeah i have heard about the shock clearance issues. well i would be interested in an affordable drag bar

KirkEvil 09-12-2009 10:16 AM

UMI just came out with a model just like the spohn adj sway bar. They are usually more reasonably priced compared to spohn

transmaro93 09-12-2009 10:25 AM

hmmm... nice find taylor.... that one doesnt look as involved as the spohn one... i wonder how well it works.... anybody that can contest for the "normal" style drag bars... the ones that are just stock replacements... how well do the work in keeping the car straight on the launch??

sweetbmxrider 09-12-2009 01:25 PM

better clearance around the shock in the air. wonder how it sits at ride height

KirkEvil 09-14-2009 11:33 PM

More info on the UMI dragbar....I went through the checkout and you can get it for 335 shipped. Whiplash, can you guys beat that price?

UMI Performance 1.25" Dragbar

Whiplash Performance 09-17-2009 12:56 PM

I think I'll do a GP on the UMI drag bar.
How much interest is there in doing this.
I'll contact them probably tomorrow to see what the best price I can do on the bar is.

As for the FAST once the LS3 one comes out I will do both an LS3 and LS2 FAST GP.

Mike 09-17-2009 01:06 PM
