Christmas was great.....

when I was 4.

I've heard more people say that they can't get into the holiday frame of mind this year. I was out of it last year and this year is no different. And I hate winter and it hasn't even started yet.

MonmouthCtyAntz 12-18-2009 06:19 PM

Holidays are overated lol

sweetbmxrider 12-18-2009 06:41 PM

halloween was kinda beat but that was my fault. thanksgiving was nice. def in the christmas mood. not so much zombie buying stuff at the store but decking out the house and blasting that christmas music. its always fun. the closer it gets the more it sets in too.

I'll admit that I used to hate the holidays. But me and my wife had our first baby this summer and that totally change my perspective on the holidays. I covered the front of the house with lights and set up the tree early this year. I got all my shopping done early and I'm really feeling festive. All because a little baby girl.

I agree with this, but not quite to that extreme.

Beating someone with a toaster is fairly extreme. That's physical violence

we used some old copper lightning rod and some copper pipe and made them into like 5 foot sections and nailed them into the ground... just put the pipe through them and thatll hold them up

not if the toaster if full of toast. Then you're just using their head to eject breakfast.

miketa95 12-19-2009 12:49 AM

Some lady tried to pull into my parking spot as I reversed into it. Oh the holidays...

BonzoHansen 12-19-2009 10:10 AM

Ok, the Metalacalypse Xmas special has reinvigorated my XMas spirit.

Clip: The Christmas Tree

It's like having a rotting corpse in your house but the corpse of a tree, you know. It's kind of bad ass. It's damned and humiliated even further by hanging ornaments all over it like **** you....Let's throw some rotting meat om it and pour some pig's blood on it or whatever, you know, it'll be bearable I guess.

I've got nothing. I blame school stress

Tru2Chevy 12-23-2009 10:12 PM

I will agree that having kids help make the holiday's more festive - my 2.5 year old is really into Christmas this year. I have managed to somehow almost completely avoid Christmas music this year though: Radio in my Jeep is non-functional, allowed one of my XM subscriptions to expire (other is in my wife's Jeep), and haven't had time to put any on at work lately either.

Time is flying by this year, but I'm still excited to watch him open presents on Friday morning.

I hate Christmas music. The only songs I like are Christmas with the Devil by Spinal Tap and I am Santa Claus by Bob Rivers.

69BirdX 12-23-2009 11:10 PM

Christmas is for kids and for people that have kids. Other then that you have to deal with ignorant people
