btw it will take you over an hour to get from Williamstown to Bensalem if you travel during rush hour. my g/fs sister makes that trip every day and it takes her almost 2 hours

As a resident of Shamong for 17 years, i have to say you would not be disappointed if you decided to move here. Nice neighborhoods in a very nice/ scenic area. Nothing close to ghetto either

I am going to miss being 5 minutes from EVERYTHING though. The areas I am looking at are in the middle of nowhere by comparison.

I've lived here my entire life too, in two homes and one apartment. Awesome convenience factor, but terrible traffic, even when there shouldn't be traffic. My parents are selling their house too, $18k in taxes is just way too much. Their looking in Medford, and some homes in MT. Laurel too, although alot of MTL is just like marlton.

certain area of mays landing are really nice, malaga, hammonton twp is nice. anything west of the hamilton mall on 322 is nice, anything on RT30 east of berlin is nice.

If they're tired of those taxes(and rightfully so) then Medford isn't the place for them. Medford is just as bad. I miss the house my parents had in Medford/Shamong. Moved there in '98 when I graduated from HS, lived there for a few years. 6.5 acres, man made lake/pond. Partly in Medford, partly in Shamong. I can only imagine what the taxes would be now
