The dyno chart on that link only shows 189 to the wheels stock...?
I thought the Genesis made more power than that...

Edit: Probably thinking of the V6

87GTA 02-02-2010 08:47 PM

v6 6speed i prefer, but nice car

BonzoHansen 02-02-2010 08:51 PM

those are some ugly brown seats. bowel movement brown.

emolineaux 02-02-2010 09:16 PM

yea i hate the brown. i test drove a 3.8 and i honestly didnt like it as much as the turbo. i didnt want a stick as a dd again so i test drove the auto 6cyl and 4cyl and the shifting between gears in the 3.8 felt off like it shifted to early between each gear. the 6 speed is a better choice for the 6 cyl and the auto is better for the 2.0.

i plan on debadging it but i gotta figure out what i want to do about that hyundai emblem on the lid.

91chevywt 02-02-2010 09:32 PM

Looks like a nice driver. Keep it stock for warranty's sake! I'd rather have the turbo car myself. I bet theres a lot more power to be had in a tune. I'd be keeping it stock for a while though.

emolineaux 02-02-2010 09:48 PM

thats my plan bill. gotta pay the car down a bit before i think about doing anything to it besides small tweeks to its looks.

ThoR294 02-02-2010 11:21 PM

yeah id keep that 10/100,000 warranty haha

Raist103 02-03-2010 08:11 AM

my buddy has one, nice driver but slow as balls. 15.4 stock he has some mods now and goes 14.9-15.2 depending on 60ft.

emolineaux 02-03-2010 02:33 PM

well its not going to be a race car lol. just a nice reliable dd

81malibu 02-03-2010 06:26 PM
