no way he's worth a second round pick  |
ill put this in type now.
eagles will go 6-10 redskins will go 9-7 and get the wildcard |
It's coming out now that McNabb would ONLY play for Washington, no other team...he would have retired otherwise. Not sure how true that is but I guess it makes sense he went to Washington. Washington will still be a joke of a team(as they have been for well over a decade) but I have a feeling McNabb is going to burn Philly at least once this upcoming season.

It's about time they broke up the Reid/McNabb combination that hasn't won a super bowl yet. McNabb did a good job but it became pretty obvious about 4-5 years ago he wasn't going to win the SB in Philly. But Redskins? Did he really want to go there? He should have gone to the west coast.

Anything the Eagles will do wont improve their chances for a champinoship until the Pete Rose curse is lifted :) Onc e he's in the Hall of Fame, Philly will be pwning every champinoship.

He's somehow trying to say there's a Pete Rose curse(when in reality it's a William Penn curse). I go for the "Eagles front office personal are a bunch of cheap, dip****s that would rather just "get by" than actually win a Super Bowl" curse. ;)

Now we just gotta get rid of Andy and we'll be golden to actually be decent again.

Decent again like before Reid was there? You must be stupid!! I dont think Buddy Ryan ever won a playoff game, Rich kotiet ( spell check) went to the playoffs once and Ray Rhodes went to the playoffs once. That was from the mid-late 80's through 1999. If thats what you consider decent then I have no idea what you consider a great team?? Thats the Eagles football I remember before Andy Reid. The best Eagles football since the start of the superbowl era has been the Andy Reid/ Mcnabb era. That is a fact!! We have had the best QB the team has ever had ( Mcnabb), the best Runningback Stat wise ( Westbrook) even though we are not a running team, The best Saftey ( Dawk), The best Kicker ( Akers), and probably the best CB ( Vincent) during this era. How can you say that this team was not a decent team? Only the Colts and Patriots have won more then the Eagles the past 10 yrs!! |

I think Vick will do well, but I also think there some rust on him that he won't be able to shake off, and will come up short on a few occasions. |

how can a baseball player curse a city yet the BASEBALL TEAM WON A WORLD SERIES also, Vick is not going to be the starter. |

Garcia was the best QB that team has seen. I mean dont get me wrong I dont follow closely but I remember watching the eagles in the second round of the playoffs the year McNabb was out injured and that **** face punting with 30 seconds left down by 3 points. I've had zero respect for him since then. |
wow

Garcia Was a Backup for us!! He had The best reciever in the league when he was in SF and look what that got him! I liked Garcia but Mcnabb was and is a much better QB. To Say Garcia is better then Mcnabb, Jaws, Cunningham, to name a few is again just stupid. The guy played here for a yr. I remember when Rodney Peete came in for a injured Randle Cunningham back in the early 90's and he led us to the Playoffs that year. I am not going to say Peete is the best QB the team has seen. It was 1 year and that was that. You put Mcnabbs numbers next to Garcia's numbers and compare them. Garcia only has won 2 playoff games. 1 back in 2002 and once is 2007. He made the Playoffs 3 times in his 10 yr career and the 1st 5 yrs of which he had a young TO as a reciever. His Playoff record is 2 wins and 3 looses. |
wow... whole lotta ruh-tards in this thread, mcnabb led the team to 4 straight nfc championship games and eventually its 5th inside of ten years... reid makes some idiotic mistakes like a lot of coaches, but theres not many more that are willing to try and fail, the guy has ballsy play calling.. im just gonna copy and paste this:
During his tenure, Reid has compiled the best win total (107), winning percentage (.618) and playoff victory total (10) in team history. He has captured five division titles and five trips to the NFC Championship game. Since he was hired in 1999, no other franchise has earned more divisional playoff round appearances (7) and only Bill Belichick's New England Patriots have matched Philadelphia in conference championship game appearances (5). Since 1999, Reid has also sent 19 players to 44 Pro Bowl appearances, the highest total for any team in the NFL during that period. None of these players had ever appeared in a Pro Bowl before Reid was hired. Among coaches with 100 games under their belt, Reid’s .608 winning percentage is 11th in NFL history and second among active coaches behind Bill Belichick's New England Patriots(.627) |

so now that the skins have mcnabb they can use their number 4 pick on a strong offensive line player...
they have a VERRRY good defense, strong running game, and now a solid qb... they will be battling for the division, while the eagles rebuild... |
Winning percentage is meaningless if you can't win a championship. We all remember the Bills because of their 4 super bowl wins, right!
