Turn them facing up and cut a hole in the hood for maximum torque because TPI cars make torque and need to be shifted at 4000 RPMs

JerzLT1 05-06-2010 08:49 PM

Ed, you're in really bad shape, you have 3.73s, an Edelbrock intake, SLP larger runners, AND headers. your car must be waaaaaaaaaaaaay slower than stock

slightly ported STOCK intake and STOCK runner length to MAINTAIN that STOCK BIG BLOCK LOW END TORQUE! No headers, Throttle body, camshaft needed. 400 + ft lbs of torque and over 400 hp
HAHAHAHA

I was running low 11's BONE STOCK, but my chute kept on opening up too early and it kept me out of the 8's. Now with my chute off and a few more mods I figure high 15's is in sight! :orlyflag:

For REAL, they came with a 305 TPI with the WS6 package and the 5-speed ONLY. You could not get them with an automatic.

Yeah, I just looked it up, I didn't realize they were 3.42's, I thought they were 3.23's.

Yeah I was looking at the production statistics last night after I posted up, didn't realize so many of them had the 3.42 option.
